CellFace

I implemented Semi-Supervise-Learning methods for blood classification

Example images of different types of white blood cells.

As part of my Master’s degree I did an internship in the CellFace project. The goal of this research project, which involves several students and doctoral researchers, is to develop a faster, cheaper and less labor-intensive way to get a complete blood count from a patient’s blood sample. The complete blood count is an important test in medical practice that is, for example, used to diagnose certain types of cancer.

Please see the project’s website for more details.

During the internship I worked on applying Semi-Supervised Learning methods to classify the blood cells.
